Michelle Miles: Who's ready for fall?

I don't know about you but Labor Day, for me, is the official end of summer. The kids are back in school, high school football is in full swing, the hockey season is on the horizon and cooler temps are on their way. All the stores have fall décor out and I LOVE IT. It's by far my favorite time of year.

It's also the time of year I lament I live in North Texas and it's still hot until like September 30. It's rare we get cooler temps around here until at least October. Or rain. Or the fall colors that I love so much in nature. We don't exactly have this:

But I don't let that stop me from pulling out all my decorations. I went crazy one year and made a bazillion craft pumpkins. I love going to Michael's to browse all the decorations. I swear this year I'm going to make a new grapevine wreath with one of those half craft pumpkins. But I haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm also busy creating Santa ornaments for Christmas.

Anyway... all this to say I am so ready for summer to go away. I probably blog about this every year, don't I? :)

What is your favorite season? What do you love most about it? I think you know what my answer is! :)

The weather has been so unusual this summer. Right now, feels a tad fallish for us. I'm always ready. Since I discovered Uggs, I can handle winter better. LOL

The summer went from extreme hot the first of August to nice. Weird. It was almost like the months were reversed. August was September and now we're having really nice late September weather early. Yes, I love fall and spring weather the best except for allergies.
